Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is an inter-disciplinary field that studies the interplay between computing technology and humans and innovates novel interaction techniques that empower people to better leverage increasingly powerful computing technology. Relevant topics include accessibility and aging, computer-supported collaborative work (CSCW), designing novel interactive hardware, materials and techniques, intelligent user interfaces, social computing, virtual reality (VR)/augmented reality (AR)/mixed reality (MR), and user experience design (UX).
